Stray Observations About Moving to Los Angeles

Somewhere between Sacramento and Los Angeles: A Palm tree.

The six hour drive from Sacramento to Los Angeles is not that difficult, and halfway through, I saw a sign for fresh avocodos and honey, and I realized that I'm an adult and I can stop if I want to! So I did. mmmm. Also, homemade fudge and wasabi peanuts.

Me at the family farm after eating wasabi peanuts.

My place is right across the street from Universal Studios. The balcony smells like a mix of theme park churros and the sweat from the model across the way doing Wii aerobics with her baby.

My bed is a Murphy Bed - so it folds up into the wall. The bottom of the bed is a mirror. So when it's up, a mirror stretches from the floor to the ceiling, while a stray bit of comforter hangs out around it.

Me reflected in the bottom of my bed. Also, the empty fudge wrapper.

My place is beautiful. These internships pick swank temporary housing for their minions.

Drove around for about an hour getting a feel for my new neighborhood listening to this on repeat: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TZb8s1tKGE

Karen, you would like it here. There are models everywhere. Also, it's tropical. Like, it feels like vacation. And a fur tree is right outside my window! I leaned the snowboard up against it so my view reminds me of home.
